Since
1996, the Atlas
Outdoor adventure has been shaped by a shared passion for Morocco and a
commitment to delivering authentic travel experiences.
Founded in 2007 by Youssef and Mohamed, two professional mountain
guides and lifelong companions from the High Atlas, Atlas Outdoor is today a family-owned
incoming travel agency and Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Marrakech.
Our
Origins
Youssef and
Mohamed grew up as brothers in a small Berber village at the foothills of Mount
M’Goun, Morocco’s second-highest peak. Descendants of the Aït Atta
tribes, their ancestors were nomads who for centuries travelled between the
Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert.
For them, travel and exploration are second nature, a way of life deeply
rooted in their identity.

of experience with leading tour operators in Morocco and abroad, Youssef and
Mohamed created their own agency to offer travellers a more personal, human,
and immersive approach to Morocco.
In 2008, they were joined by other family members — Ahmed, Moha, Sara,
… — forming a dynamic, rigorous, and passionate team dedicated to
excellence.

Outdoor has become one of the leading travel agencies and DMCs in Morocco,
welcoming travellers and professional tour operators from around the world for
over 27 years.
